Woman Stuck to Toilet Seat's Boyfriend Receives Probation

Pam Babcock stayed in a bathroom for two years, sat on a toilet seat for well over a month, and the seat adhered to her body. Now Babcock’s then boyfriend, who had allowed her to stay on the seat for that period, received six months probation for his mistreatment, according to CBSNews.
Kory McFarren was charged with a misdemeanor count of mistreatment of a dependent adult, a charge to which he pleaded no contest. McFarren was sentenced to six months jail time, but when Babcock asked the judge for leniency, McFarren was instead granted probation. "She didn't believe that her circumstances were his fault," Ness County Attorney Craig Crosswhite said.
Last February, McFarren called the Ness County sheriff, claiming to be worried about his live-in girlfriend, Babcock. When authorities arrived at the house, they found Babcock physically attached to the toilet seat; it had adhered to sores that developed on her body after she had been sitting on it for at least a month. According to McFarren, Babcock had refused to leave the bathroom for two years.
