In the midst of disturbing news, venomous debates on all sorts of issues, earthquakes, tsunamis, etc, every now and then one encounters an example of how truly unique human beings can be and how they can combine intelligence, artistic perception, and skillful hands to create breathtaking art. I found this piece in the Christian Science Monitor today and thought some of you would be interested. There are a number of clips of the young woman working and all of them are good; however the one that the article refers to is worth watching several times.
