The US and its allies began to hold key talks with Iran about its nuclear ambitions earlier Thursday morning, the BBC reported.
The talks, held in Geneva, include Iran, the five countries within the UN Security Council, with the addition of German and EU representatives.
German officials, in particular, have stated that Iran's recent nuclear ambitions, centered on its hidden nuclear facility, are far out of line. Representatives from International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have also expressed outrage at Iran's failure to inform them of even the facility's construction itself.
Iranian officials have promised that IAEA investigators will be allowed to survey the site, but no date has been set for doing so.
France and the UK are expected to propose a plan allotting Iran an IAEA monitored supply of uranium to utilize as fuel, thus fulfilling Iran's power needs without the danger of enrichment.
Iran will reportedly reject all proposals that involve complete suspension of its nuclear activity, but the US continues to emphasize suspension as the goal of its negotiations.
