This may be a spoiler--not sure-- so I marked it that way. I agree with most of the comments made by others. " Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set " is a soap opera which emasculates men, treats nurses badly, is mildly entertaining and medically grossly inaccurate.
But last night's episode of Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set went over the top of silliness by suggesting that a young patient with a seizure disorder truly had psychic powers. Of course there are no psychic powers in Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set and those who pretend to have them are either self deluded or more commonly out to cheat people -- most often gullible, naive, and grieving people.
The line the writers of Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set used which most offended me was the one used by most of the proponents of the crooks and charlatans who masquerade "cold reading" stage magic act into "talking to the dead" and it's: "He told me things he couldn't possibly know." Hey, writers! "News for youse": except for vague generalities, lucky guesses and reading body language, people can't do that unless they cheat. Worse yet, Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set "illustrated" this paranormal bullpoop by several examples which, if they were possible, would have indeed demonstrated supernatural knowledge and powers. Unfortunately, nobody can do these things when properly observed. Even more unfortunate, many who pretend to do it make millions of dollars a year fooling people. Some "psychics"in Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set are paid a thousand dollars an hour-- mostly by people in emotional pain.
It's sad that the credibility of Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set, already made tenuous by all the medical technical mistakes that others have pointed out, was further degraded by this unfortunate venture into supposed "psychic" phenomena. Shame on you, writers. You should have known better. You go from a C to a D-. If I wanted to hear about "psychics", I'd watch *yuch* "Medium". Why not rename Grey's anatomy Season DVD Box Set "Medium Rare"?
