No, it doesn't even come mind, when I think of a sport. I personally find it boring watching cars race around a track - some of them getting in accidents. My opinion of NASCAR is boring, but many people seem to enjoy it, so good for them. |

I wasn't that interested in it before I won tickets to see a race in person. before that, if hubby had it on the tv, I'd pass it by.
Now, I have become a bigger fan of the sport (yes it is a sport), than hubby, and none of my friends are into it either. It's super-exciting to watch in person...but yes, I agree: boring to watch them going around on the tv, unless you know the ins and outs, the rules, etc. |

Love NASCAR! Huge supporters of Jimmy Johnson and Jeff Gordon.

You're my new best friend Tiffany. I'm a Jeff fan too! Besides being an excellent driver, he's articulate and not too hard on the eyes either!
Do you get to any of the races? We were at Fontana a few weeks ago, and we've attended in Vegas and Sonoma. How about you? |

We have only been to the Brickyard so far. That is we have been to about 5 of them. We were from Indy before moving down here to FL...ugh!
We hope that we can get to Miami this year! I am a sweeps junky and am trying to win with about a dozen places! LOL
We love NASCAR! So much so that it was a panic to try and find where they were going to finish the race following yesterday's rain delay. Boy if that wasn't crummy!!! Jimmy could have taken that race with a green white checker!! How awful that they would make the announcement then say they were calling it! GRRR!
U must be west coast based, huh?

Yes, we're in so. California.
I can't believe I watched 8 hours coverage of NASCAR last weekend, with the two rain delays. I didn't think they would start the race up again. I think if they had gone to the original end of the race, Jeff may have won that. He was flying!
I'm also a sweeps junkie. I've won tickets to the Fontana race (that's what got me started in the first place), and then last year I won a trip for 4 to Vegas, airfare, two hotel rooms at the MGM Grand, car rental, spending money, entrance to the hospitality suites with meet and greet Jeff Burton and Bobby Labonte, breakfast and lunches, goodie bags, tickets to qualifying, Busch race and Cup race. Probably one of my better wins...it was soooo much fun. |
