A grandmother was killed and a 10-month-old is missing in Pennsylvania
More than 24 hours later, a 10-month-old infant is still missing after her grandmother was murdered.
WFMZ reports, Saanvi Venna has been missing since Monday afternoon when police had found Satyavathi Venna, her grandmother, murdered inside her apartment near the King of Prussia Mall. The grandmother was babysitting the infant at the time and was visiting from India.
The infants father Siva Venna said, “If someone finds my baby, can you please bring my baby back, don’t do any harm to my baby.”
An autopsy said the grandmother’s cause of death was a homicide.
Amber Alerts and flyers are being passed out to try and find the little girl. Evidence is being collected at the scene and investigators have drained the pool at the complex but they are remaining very quiet about the investigation.
According to USA Today, Montgomery County District Attorney Risa Vetri Ferman said, “All of our resources are focused on finding Saavni and reuniting her with her parents. The search for the child is intricately connected to the homicide investigation.”
As of Tuesday, Upper Merion police Sergeant Chuck Zadroga did not have any updates on the case and the investigation is ongoing.
